The Golf Club At Boulder Ridge, is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in San Jose, California.
Boulder Ridge golf course first opened for play in 2007. The course was designed by Bradford Benz.
Located high above the Santa Clara Valley in San Jose, California, Boulder Ridge overlooks Silicon Valley with views of the Santa Cruz mountains. Boulder Ridge features lush fairways, dramatic bunkering and bentgrass greens.
The unique character of the course comes from giant prehistoric boulders where the Ohlone Indians lived and played centuries ago and later, where settlers quarried rocks. It was rocks from this site that were used to build Stanford University and the original San Jose post office. The quarry portions of this course are rugged, intimidating and beautiful. Hit the boulders and there is no telling where the golf ball might bounce. Every round at Boulder Ridge is a special golf experience.

You will not forget this course, the scenery, views, and unique nature of the quarry rocks and history. Many challenging but fair holes, some narrow, some with carry required, all very scenic. Just a few blind shots on some holes that require local knowledge or drive-aheads. The only downside is you will not likely be able to walk this course and keep your game together, lots of up and down!

This course is notable for its outstanding views of the Almaden Valley and Santa Cruz mountains from nearly every hole. The course is challenging with substantial elevation change, long par threes and narrow fairways, but a very fun course to play. The course is in outstanding condition with some of the best greens in the entire Bay Area.
